Job Summary
Conduct security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle, watching for irregular conditions that may create safety hazards. Sound alarms or contact police/fire for emergencies and warn violators of rule infractions such as loitering or smoking. Permit authorized entry, monitor entrances and exits, and observe departing personnel to prevent theft. Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and maintain required written logs. Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner while making emergency notifications as necessary. Work irregular overnight shifts (9:00 PM – 5:00 AM) on weekends and weekdays in Seneca, SC, with little to no advance notice. Requires valid driver's license, one year of security experience, and ability to operate radio/telephone equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- Security Experience 1+ years
- Great Customer Service Skills
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet
- High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than one accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months)
- Minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy
- Ability to safely operate a vehicle
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
