Job Summary
Conduct security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle, monitoring entrances and exits while watching for irregular conditions or safety hazards. Sound alarms or notify police and fire departments regarding unauthorized persons or fires, and warn violators of rule infractions such as loitering or smoking. Permit authorized entry, observe departing personnel to prevent theft, and investigate accidents or suspicious activities by preparing reports and maintaining required logs. Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner and make emergency notifications per site Post Orders. Perform these duties during overnight shifts (9:00 PM - 5:00 AM) on weekends and weekdays in Seneca, SC, with irregular shift assignments and little to no advance notice.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than one accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months)
- Minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy
- Ability to safely operate a vehicle
- At least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Active listening and problem-solving skills
- Assess and evaluate situations effectively
- Identify critical issues quickly and accurately

- Workdays available: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Subject to background investigation

- Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic)
- Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience
