Job Summary
Conduct security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle, monitoring entrances and exits while watching for irregular conditions or safety hazards. Sound alarms or contact police/fire for emergencies, warn violators of rule infractions, and permit authorized access. Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and maintain required written logs. Aid customers and visitors in a courteous manner and make emergency notifications per site Post Orders. Work flexible shifts Monday through Sunday, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnights, with potential for irregular shifts and little to no advance notice.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Valid driver's license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- At least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
- Effective oral and written communication skills; able to write informatively, clearly, and accurately
- Active listening and problem-solving skills
- Assess and evaluate situations effectively; identify critical issues quickly and accurately
- Mediate conflict with tact, diplomacy

Desired Qualifications
- F-01 Certificate of Fitness
- Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic)
- Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience
