Job Summary
Conduct security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle, watching for irregular conditions that create safety hazards. Sound alarms or contact police and fire departments regarding unauthorized persons or fires. Warn violators of rule infractions, permit authorized entry, and monitor entrances and exits. Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing written logs as required. Aid customers and visitors courteously while making emergency notifications per site Post Orders. Work irregular shifts with little to no advance notice using the exclusive shift-pickup platform.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of verifiable experience
- Valid driver's license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle
- Background investigation
- Drug screen
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Active listening and problem-solving skills
- Assess and evaluate situations effectively; identify critical issues quickly and accurately
- Mediate conflict with tact, diplomacy
- Teamwork
- Attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic)
- Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience
