Job Summary
Conduct security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle, watch for irregular conditions, and sound alarms or call police for unauthorized persons or fires. Warn violators of rule infractions, permit authorized entry, and monitor entrances and exits to protect against theft. Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, maintain logs, and make emergency notifications per site Post Orders. Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner while operating radio or telephone equipment. Work irregular shifts with little to no advance notice at pay rate of $22.90/Hr. This role serves clients in healthcare, education, finance, and other industries, offering flexibility to build a schedule that works for you.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of verifiable experience
- Valid driver's license
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliability
- Ability to adapt to different post assignments
- Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
