Job Summary
Conduct security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle while watching for irregular or unusual conditions that may create safety hazards. Sound alarms or notify police and fire departments in case of fire or unauthorized persons, warn violators of rule infractions, and permit authorized entry while monitoring entrances and exits. Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, maintain written logs, and make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders. Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner and observe departing personnel to protect against theft. Work irregular shifts with little to no advance notice in Greenville, SC, including morning and overnight rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- Security Experience 2+ years
- Great Customer Service Skills
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet
- High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than one accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months)
- Minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy
- Ability to safely operate a vehicle
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Active listening and problem-solving skills
