Job Summary
Conduct security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicles, monitoring entrances and exits to permit authorized access while observing departing personnel for theft prevention. Watch for irregular conditions, warn violators of rule infractions, and sound alarms or contact police/fire for unauthorized persons or emergencies. Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, maintain required logs, and make emergency notifications per site Post Orders. Aid customers and visitors courteously and operate radio or telephone equipment. Work irregular shifts with little to no advance notice. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule across healthcare, education, and finance industries.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Valid driver's license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle
- subject to a background investigation
- subject to a drug screen
- at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
