Job Summary
Conduct security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle, watch for irregular conditions, and sound alarms or call police for unauthorized persons. Warn violators of rule infractions, permit authorized entry, and monitor entrances and exits to protect against theft. Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, maintain logs, and make emergency notifications per site Post Orders. Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner while operating radio or telephone equipment. Work irregular shifts with little to no advance notice at a rate of $22.05/Hr. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver's license, and pass a background investigation and drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of verifiable experience
- Valid driver's license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle
- Background investigation
- Drug screen
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
- Effective oral and written communication skills
