Job Summary
Security Presales Engineer to support sales in Spain, combining technical and commercial insights to promote Orange Cyberdefense solutions. Responsibilities include responding to RFIs/RFPs, preparing cost sheets/P&L analysis, assisting in closing agreements, organizing and participating in client meetings, drafting tender responses, facilitating proofs of concept, conducting internal and partner trainings, providing monthly activity reports, and contributing feedback to Marketing/Operations. Strong technical background in cybersecurity and experience with SIEM (Splunk) and multiple security technologies. Requires Bac+5 in CS or equivalent, 4+ years in security engineering/pre-sales, English mandatory (Spanish also required; French appreciated), and willingness to travel to client sites. Hybrid remote arrangement in Madrid with up to 2 days remote per week; standard benefits and career development opportunities are highlighted.
Required Qualifications
- Bac+5 degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Security Engineer/Consultant, preferably in Pre-Sales, for at least 4 years
- Experience with managed security service portfolios, particularly SOCs and CyberSOCs
- Experience in security consulting, including penetration testing
- Experience in client relations and delivering presentations
- Fluency in English (mandatory); Spanish mandatory; French appreciated
- Experience drafting responses to tenders
- Knowledge of SIEM technologies (Splunk)
- Knowledge of at least 3 technologies: Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Symantec, Pulse Secure, Cisco, Zscaler
- Strong TCP/IP networking understanding
- Strong communication skills
- Certifications such as CISSP/CISA/CISM/OSCP/CEH/CREST are a plus
- Ability to travel to client sites
- French language skills appreciated
