Job Summary
Conduct scheduled and unscheduled facility rounds to monitor client activity, safety concerns, and environmental conditions while ensuring clients remain in authorized areas. Respond promptly to behavioral incidents and conflicts using verbal de-escalation techniques to reduce tension and prevent escalation. Identify and address safety hazards such as slip, trip, and fall risks, blocked exits, or damaged equipment, taking immediate corrective action and reporting issues requiring management involvement. Complete incident reports, safety logs, and documentation accurately to maintain compliance with ADHS, Joint Commission, OSHA, and Sanctuary Recovery Centers policies. Respond to emergency situations as directed and contact emergency services when necessary. This role operates within behavioral health treatment facilities, requiring the ability to walk facility grounds, stand frequently, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to successfully pass background screening requirements
- Ability to walk facility grounds and conduct rounds throughout the shift
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and climb stairs frequently
- Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally
