Job Summary
Patrol and inspect the property to protect against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal activity while monitoring surveillance cameras. Monitor entrances and exits, greet guests and visitors, and lock/unlock doors and gates as required. Observe and report policy or law violations, deter criminal activity through visual presence, and complete incident reports with accurate information. Take charge and direct others during emergencies or dangerous incidents. Walk for long periods to perform duties across the hotel and adjacent office complexes.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a background check before starting work
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 year of Security experience
- Ability to show good judgement and common sense
- Ability to follow directions and directives from supervisors
- Ability to accurately recount situations which they witnessed
- Ability to follow company policy and guidelines
- Professional appearance
- Ability to interact with the public
- Excellent verbal and written abilities
- Ability to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other dangerous incidents
- Keen eye for detail
- Must be able to walk for long periods of time
- Must be available for 2nd and 3rd shifts
