Job Summary
Patrol interior and exterior perimeters ensuring they are secure, providing a security presence by engaging tenants and visitors, assisting them as needed, and responding to calls or incidents while communicating with the supervisor. Complete shift logs, vehicle inspections, and incident reports as required, submit to supervisor at shift end, and ensure all fire lanes are clear to assist emergency apparatus. Maintain clear fire lanes and assist emergency apparatus as required. This position is staffed 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, with no supervisory responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Punctual and dependable for all scheduled shifts, including weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
- The employee is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- The specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The position is staffed 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, associate's degree, or higher is preferred.
- Previous experience in Security or a related field preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Excellent driving record
- Strong observation skills
- Concise writing skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
