Job Summary
This part-time Security position involves monitoring building security and requires candidates to complete a week-long training period. Essential duties include monitoring electric gates, documenting daily activities and incidents, escorting visitors, issuing keys and security badges, and responding to medical emergencies and alarms. Applicants must have a high school diploma, a minimum of one year of security experience, and valid NYS driver's and security licenses, alongside first aid and CPR certifications. Effective communication and multitasking are essential, and candidates should be flexible to work various shifts, including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-year experience in a security position
- Must possess and maintain a valid NYS Driver’s License
- Must possess and maintain a valid & active NY State Security License
Desired Qualifications
- Valid first aid and adult CPR/AED certifications
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently
- Flexibility to work on multiple shifts and holidays
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Additional Requirements
- Must be available to complete a week-long daytime training period
- Must maintain a professional appearance as this is a uniformed position
