Security Operations Vice President

Security Operations Vice President leads the SOC/attack analysis function, managing a team of SOC analysts in 24/7 monitoring and incident response. Responsibilities include guiding alert triage and case analysis, coaching and career development for team members, tracking alert and case metrics to drive improvements, coordinating incident response tasks, and preparing communications to senior management. The role requires strong technical and non-technical skills across incident response processes, network fundamentals, log/PCAP analysis, Windows/Linux investigation, cloud concepts, and collaboration with related security teams (Forensics, Threat Intelligence, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Management, Purple Teaming). Experience in communicating with senior management, delivering feedback, and applying data-driven process improvements is essential. Preferred security certifications (e.g., GIAC, CISSP, CEH) and working experience across global/m multinational environments; cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) familiarity is expected.
