Security Operations Engineer

Entry-level Security Operations Engineer to drive security operations processes and automation for cloud and IT infrastructure under a senior security engineer. Role involves vulnerability management across cloud and on-prem IT, triaging scan results, driving remediation with cross-team partners, acting as the internal point of contact for vulnerability management, and maintaining security tools/dashboards. Also supports 3rd party/vendor security assessment activities, acting as the primary vendor security assessment support for internal teams, and producing detailed reports and dashboards. Desirable skills include basic scripting (Python/Bash), familiarity with Jira and Jira automation, vulnerability scanning and threat intel tools, and familiarity with AWS and AWS automation. Compensation is hourly contract position: $45-$60 per hour, equivalent to approximately $93,600–$124,800 per year, for a 6-month contract.
