Job Summary
Monitor security systems, coordinate emergencies, and compile daily shift reports while replying to email and phone inquiries. Push operational matters in real-time to senior management, manage communications for calls-for-service, and prioritize incoming information according to procedure. Acknowledge alarms, dispatch personnel as needed, and handle escalated security issues by coordinating with the Security Team and directing external emergency personnel. Assist in supervising a team of security officers regarding payroll, training, and development. Participate in regular training and scenario-based security drills, and compile monthly, quarterly, and annual statistical data.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2 years prior satisfactory employment as a security officer or in a customer service position
- Must be at least 20 years of age
- Ability to acquire and maintain a valid PERC Card, including state accredited training requirements
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
- Must maintain a working telephone number though which we can contact you
