Job Summary
Direct and manage continuous 24/7/365 SOC operations supporting the State of Texas Data Center Services infrastructure, ensuring high availability and adherence to strict SLAs. Oversee threat intelligence, threat hunting, digital forensics, and vulnerability management services aligned with NIST standards while supervising SIEM tool integration and Privileged Access Management platforms. Ensure compliance with incident response, triage, and escalation timelines. Collaborate with the Multi-Sourcing Integrator and DIR leadership to deliver operational dashboards and performance metrics. This role leads cybersecurity operations for a government contract, requiring a Director-level leader with 8+ years of experience in enterprise SOC environments and multi-cloud security management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience leading security operations or managing enterprise SOC environments
- CISSP, CISM, GCIH, CISA, or equivalent certifications aligned with the NIST NICE/NCWF framework
- Proven experience in managing security for multi-cloud environments (Public/Private Cloud) and government infrastructure
