Job Summary
Monitor and analyze email flows to identify and filter spam, adjust anti-spam filters, and collaborate with teams to minimize organizational impact. Identify and process security and filtering exceptions, validate their legitimacy, and document resolutions to prevent misuse. Detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents such as phishing and malware, coordinating containment, eradication, and recovery actions while contributing to incident reporting and policy improvements. This freelance role requires a Bac+5 degree in Networks and Security, relevant certifications, and ITIL knowledge, with a start date of ASAP based in Rabat.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor's degree (Bac+4) in Networks and Security
- Practical knowledge of ITIL concepts and processes (Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Service Request Management, Configuration Management) > 2 years
- Fluent in English
Desired Qualifications
- A certification in information security is desirable (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, or equivalent)
- ITIL v3 certified (Minimum Foundation level)
- Knowledge of spam filtering and email security tools
- Good understanding of cybersecurity incidents and forensic analysis techniques
- Intercultural receptiveness and flexibility
- Highly organized with a proven ability to manage workload, meet deadlines, and use time effectively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; works effectively in a team
- Ability to operate within a matrix structure
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
