Job Summary
Patrol property, monitor surveillance equipment, and inspect buildings and access points to secure premises and personnel. Prevent losses by reporting irregularities, enforcing policies, and managing trespassers. Complete daily reports by recording observations, interviewing witnesses, and documenting surveillance activities. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activities. Maintain professional appearance and provide customer service as needed. This role reports to Tracy at 904-776-6814. First Coast Security offers customized security solutions across commercial, residential, and government sites.
Required Qualifications
- Extraordinary knowledge of security protocols
- Ability to work on a team or independently
- Excellent radio communication
- Attention to detail
- Ability to react appropriately in stressful situations
- Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures
- Must have previous Supervisor experience
- Must be able to obtain an valid driver's license
- Must be able to obtain an Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certification
- Must be able to pass a drug screening, driving record check and background check
- Must be A US citizen
- Must be over 21 years old
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- 1 year experience as a Supervisor
- 1 year experience in Security
- Weekend availability
- In person
