Job Summary
Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and deliveries, verify credentials, and document incidents per site procedures. Conduct regular patrols throughout loading areas, parking zones, and the exterior perimeter to deter unauthorized activity. Respond to unusual activity or critical situations calmly, communicating observations to site contacts and leadership. Provide customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors while executing security-related procedures and emergency response protocols. This part-time role in Newark, CA, offers flexible scheduling and access to the Claim a Shift platform for earning additional hours.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
