Job Summary
Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and deliveries while verifying credentials and documenting incidents per site procedures. Conduct regular patrols throughout loading areas, parking zones, and the exterior perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns. Respond to incidents and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to site contacts and leadership as needed. Provide customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors by executing security-related procedures and emergency response activities at this logistics and distribution location.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred
