Job Summary
Patrol casino floors, hotel areas, and property perimeters to identify risks, hazards, or suspicious activity while preventing theft, fraud, and unauthorized entry. Respond promptly to emergencies including medical incidents, fires, and criminal activity, administering first aid/CPR as trained and de-escalating conflicts professionally. Escort cash, chips, and valuables across the property, verify IDs for age compliance, and enforce all gaming regulations and company policies. Provide directions and security escorts to guests and team members, maintaining a visible presence to deter misconduct while delivering exceptional service. Work 24/7 shifts in a fast-paced, high-noise casino environment requiring extended standing and physical agility.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain and maintain required gaming license / work cards
- Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods
- Capable of responding quickly to emergencies
- Ability to lift, carry, and move as required
- Comfortable working in a high-noise, high-traffic casino environment
- Resort and casino setting with 24/7 operations (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
- Interaction with guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Exposure to indoor and outdoor areas
Desired Qualifications
- Prior security, law enforcement, military, or hospitality experience
- Previous casino or gaming environment experience
- Strong observation and situational awareness
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- Excellent communication and customer service
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Team-oriented with the ability to multi-task in fast-paced environments
