Job Summary
Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to safeguard personnel, property, and classified information. Greet guests and employees while escorting visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points. Respond to security alarms and act as a first responder in emergency situations. Report safety concerns, breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to the client or security personnel. Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders. Requires a valid Top Secret D.O.D. clearance, three years of experience on a cleared site, or prior military experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Top Secret D.O.D. clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance
- Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site
- Prior military experience
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
Desired Qualifications
- Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
- Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
