Job Summary
Follow Security Department procedures to provide a safe environment for guests and employees by observing and reporting activities, incidents, or safety hazards. Respond to emergency situations as directed, transport casino funds and revenues in accordance with established standards, and systematically check the effectiveness of locks and security devices. Restrict access to sensitive areas from unauthorized persons, prevent illegal behavior, and provide assistance in the ejection of guests as directed. Perform first aid as required and create a comfortable environment for patrons. This role involves working on the casino floor during busy times, evenings, weekends, and holidays in a smoky, loud, and crowded environment with frequent interruptions. The position requires CPO certification or enrollment within one year of hire and a Washington State Liquor Board Class 12 Mixologist permit within 60 days.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- CPO certified or enrolled in a course within one year of accepting position
- Possess Washington State Liquor Board Class 12 Mixologist permit, within 60 days of hire
- Knowledge of basic computer programs and software
- Able to type 20 wpm
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. while standing, twisting, or bending
- Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time
- Must be available for evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must be on-call
