Security Officer

Serve as the first responder to police, fire, or medical emergencies while maintaining a visible, uniformed presence at assigned locations. Control access at designated entry and exit points, monitor security systems including fire alarms and surveillance cameras, and conduct safety inspections per policy. Manage key control, distribute lost and found inventory, and perform traffic control or parking enforcement as required. Respond to security complaints, assist public safety officers, and execute preventive maintenance on guest room security systems. Maintain accurate logs, checklists, and detailed incident reports using computer systems. This role requires flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with a background check, drug test, and MVR check. A Class D Security License and First Aid/CPR certification are preferred.
