Job Summary
Security Officer responsible for maintaining a secure, welcoming environment at Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa in Orlando, FL. Provides initial response to incidents (police, fire, medical), maintains a visible security presence and access control, monitors security systems and front desk/fire panels, conducts safety inspections, completes incident reports, performs lost-and-found and parking duties, and assists public safety as needed. Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of security experience; possession of a valid unarmed security license is a plus (assistance to obtain provided). CPR/First Aid/AED certificates are highly preferred. Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency are required; candidate must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays and lift 50 lbs. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year security related experience
- Possession of a valid Unarmed Security Officer license (preferred, will assist in obtaining)
- First Aid/CPR/AED certificates preferred
- Hospitality or guest service experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with basic computer systems for reports/logs/emails
- Ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations
- Excellent judgment and attention to detail
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Flexible to work nights, weekends, holidays
- Background check, drug test, and MVR check required
- US work eligibility proof required
- Indoor/outdoor work; long periods on feet
