Job Summary
Perform regular foot and vehicle patrols of assigned areas while maintaining a visible security presence to deter unwanted activity. Monitor for safety hazards, suspicious behavior, and policy violations, then respond to incidents following established procedures. Provide excellent customer service to Panda employees and visitors, and write clear, accurate incident and activity reports. Communicate with supervisors, clients, and first responders as needed. This role requires a valid CA BSIS Guard Card, clean driving record, and ability to work Saturday 6am-2pm shifts at the Rosemead campus.
Required Qualifications
- 18+ years old
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid CA BSIS Guard Card (or ability to obtain)
- Valid CA Driver's License with a 3 year clean driving record
- Professional appearance
- Strong customer service skills
- Able to read, write, and speak English clearly
- Reliable transportation to/from Rosemead for a 6 a.m. start
- Able to stand, walk, and climb stairs for most of an 8-hour shift
- Able to pass a background check
- Willing to work the set schedule (6 a.m.–2 p.m.)
- Willing to work occasional overtime/holidays if needed
