Job Summary
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to identify unusual activity and deter unauthorized access. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report access-related concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following established emergency response activities and escalation procedures. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately in required reports and shift records. This part-time role in Fort Wayne, IN, includes a six-month fixed-shift commitment with an option to pick up additional shifts through the Smart Tools platform.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- CPR certification is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
