Job Summary
Conduct regular unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, loading docks, and facility perimeters to deter unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by escalating concerns according to site procedures while maintaining visible presence. Provide customer service by verifying visitor credentials, monitoring access points, and reporting hazards or unusual conditions to site contacts and leadership. Maintain accurate records of entries, deliveries, and security-related incidents. Work day shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM in Holbrook, NY, earning $19.07 per hour as part of Allied Universal's security team.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
