Job Summary
Monitor access points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, and manage visitor and contractor entry while maintaining accurate records. Control vehicle and pedestrian access by directing drivers and coordinating entry and exit procedures in accordance with site requirements. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations by documenting observations and communicating relevant information to site leadership or emergency responders. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity. Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Loss prevention experience is preferred
