Job Summary
Greet, screen, and direct visitors, employees, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with access-control requirements and site protocols. Verify credentials, issue visitor badges as authorized, maintain accurate visitor and access logs, and communicate access-related concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following established emergency response procedures while monitoring entry points and reporting unauthorized activity. This part-time role supports a front desk location in Merritt Island, FL, serving aerospace and defense clients. Applicants must possess at least one year of security-related experience, be 21 years of age, and hold a valid driver's license. A guard card or license is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Have at least one year of security-related experience
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possession of a guard card or license
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
