Job Summary
Security Officer responsible for crowd management and protecting venue property. Duties include patrolling and monitoring entrances/exits, conducting patron searches, maintaining safety and order, directing guests, executing emergency duties and evacuations, operating screening devices, and collaborating with the event staff and security team. Requires strong communication, judgment, teamwork, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Part-time role based in Manassas, VA, with physical requirements such as standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Acute sense of judgment and tact
- Strong teamwork
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs and standing for lengthy periods during a shift
