Job Summary
Conduct routine unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to deter security incidents and maintain a visible presence. Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while monitoring site access by verifying credentials and reporting unauthorized entry attempts. Respond to alarms and critical situations by following site procedures and contacting emergency responders as needed. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation to communicate observations to leadership. This role supports utilities clients in Corpus Christi, TX, with a day shift schedule from 11:00 PM to 07:00 AM.
Required Qualifications
- at least one year of security-related experience
- high school diploma or GED
- at least 21 years of age
- valid driver's license
- subject to a background investigation
- subject to a drug screen
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
