Job Summary
Conduct patrols, monitor access control, and provide customer assistance to uphold safety and security for hospital staff, patients, and visitors. Serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities and supervise at-risk patients within the healthcare environment. Perform other job-related duties as assigned while maintaining alertness in fast-paced or quiet settings. Work hours vary depending on client schedules and may involve seven days a week.
Required Qualifications
- Completed High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications
- Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift
- Must be able to move or lift objects up to 80 lbs.
- Must be able to help restrain or lift a person
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to meet Tarian's company driving guidelines if applicable
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for variable amounts of time throughout an assigned shift
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move objects 25 pounds or more
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
Desired Qualifications
- Previous work experience with the public in a service setting
