Job Summary
Conduct patrols, monitor access control, and assist customers to uphold safety and security within hospital environments. Serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities and provide supervision for at-risk patients. Perform other job-related duties as assigned while maintaining site-specific requirements and client expectations. Work hours vary depending on assignments, client schedules, and project deadlines, potentially exceeding 40 hours across any day of the week.
Required Qualifications
- Completed High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications
- Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift
- Must be able to move or lift objects up to 80 lbs.
- Must be able to help restrain or lift a person
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to meet Tarian's company driving guidelines if applicable
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for variable amounts of time throughout an assigned shift
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move objects 25 pounds or more
- Must have close vision
- Must have distance vision
- Must have color vision
- Must have peripheral vision
- Must have depth perception
- Must have the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to engage in mental concentration, analysis, and formulation
- Must be able to work any of the 7 days of the week
- Must be able to work variable workweeks that may exceed 40 hours
