Job Summary
Conduct patrols, monitor access control, and assist customers to uphold safety and security at the hospital, serving as a visible deterrent to illegal activity. Provide supervision for at-risk patients and perform assigned duties to maintain the safety of staff, patients, and visitors. Work variable hours that may exceed 40 weeks, including any day of the week, requiring alertness in fast-paced or quiet environments. Requires high-level physical stamina to stand, walk, lift up to 80 lbs, and meet specific vision and driver's license standards.
Required Qualifications
- Completed High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications
- Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift
- Must be able to move or lift objects up to 80 lbs.
- Must be able to help restrain or lift a person
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to meet Tarian's company driving guidelines if applicable
