Job Summary
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter zones to identify and report unusual activity or unauthorized access. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verify credentials when required, and respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while presenting a professional, customer-focused presence in a technology and telecommunications environment.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Desired Qualifications
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred
- CPR Certification is preferred
- Alarm Panel Experience is preferred
- CPR/First Aid is preferred
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred
