Security Officer Unarmed Roving Patrol

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity. Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures. Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions or policy violations, reporting observations to appropriate store contacts and/or supervisors. Document incidents, patrols, and security-related activities accurately and complete required reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures. Work a rotating day shift from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM.
