Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas, including manufacturing zones, parking lots, entry points, and facility perimeters, to identify unusual activity and deter incidents. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while verifying authorized entry at access points in accordance with site procedures. Respond to security-related concerns, alarms, and critical situations by escalating issues to leadership or emergency responders as directed. Prepare clear reports of patrols, incidents, and observations per Allied Universal and site requirements. Work part-time shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM in Seneca, SC, supporting automotive manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Alarm panel experience is preferred
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred
