Job Summary
Conduct routine unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns. Respond to incidents, student-related issues, and critical situations while maintaining a visible presence to support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Provide customer service and clear communication to the school community, monitor access points and visitor activity, and assist with directing guests. Report observations to appropriate personnel and prepare accurate daily activity and incident documentation. Work a day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM in Ashburn, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- CPR certification is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred
