Job Summary
Conduct regular unarmed patrols of assigned areas, including business operations, access points, parking areas, equipment locations, and perimeter boundaries. Monitor and report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, facility conditions, and potential hazards to site contacts and leadership. Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining accurate activity logs and shift documentation. Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Work part-time shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Tuesday through Wednesday, in El Dorado, AR.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- A guard card/license is preferred
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
