Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned academic buildings, residence areas, common spaces, parking zones, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance by following established campus protocols while providing customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Conduct regular and random patrols to maintain a visible presence, report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, and policy violations, and prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports for supervisors. Work day shifts including Wednesdays through Sundays from 12:00 AM to 08:00 AM or 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
