Job Summary
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and access protocols within a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and communicating with site contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity. Monitor access activity to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials and reporting policy concerns. Support emergency response activities by following post orders and completing required reports before the end of each shift. This part-time role in Santa Clara, CA, offers a schedule that works for you and includes a $22.00 hourly rate.
Required Qualifications
- At least 6 months of security-related experience
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Possess a valid driver's license
