Job Summary
Conduct routine unarmed patrols of chemical and petrochemical facilities, process areas, access points, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and access concerns by following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Monitor access control points to verify credentials for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors. Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities, and prepare accurate logs for patrols, incidents, and visitor activity. Work a rotating day shift from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday through Saturday. Requires a valid driver's license and high school diploma.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license in the state where the job is located
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
