Job Summary
Monitor assigned galleries, exhibits, and perimeter areas while providing customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols to identify unusual activity, respond to alarms and critical situations, and document observations using a computer or tablet. Assist with directions, lost property, and general inquiries while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents. Work part-time shifts from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Thursdays through Sundays in Purchase, NY. Join a team dedicated to safeguarding cultural institutions with a people-first culture.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred
