Job Summary
Conduct security patrols, monitor access control, and provide customer assistance to uphold the safety of hospital staff, patients, and visitors. Serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on property and supervise at-risk patients in the hospital environment. Perform other job-related duties as assigned while maintaining alertness in fast-paced or quiet settings. Requires standing, walking, lifting up to 80 lbs, and specific vision abilities. Work hours vary by client schedules and may include weekends or shifts exceeding 40 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Completed High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications
- Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift
- Must be able to move or lift objects up to 80 lbs.
- Must be able to help restrain or lift a person
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to meet Tarian's company driving guidelines if applicable
