Job Summary
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting. Respond to incidents, critical situations, and requests for assistance in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and support visitor management processes in accordance with site-specific requirements. Document observations, incidents, and activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel. Work part-time or full-time shifts in Mangonia Park, FL, with a six-month fixed-shift commitment option and the ability to claim additional shifts via our scheduling platform. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to work in and around a hospital morgue, and meeting vaccine requirements. Background investigation and drug screen are conditions of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements
- Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue
- Must be able to restrain individuals
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen
