Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned healthcare areas, including buildings, parking lots, and perimeters, while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents. Respond to behavioral concerns, medical emergencies, and critical situations following established site protocols, and support entry procedures at access points. Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by addressing concerns with integrity and documenting all daily activities, incidents, and patrols accurately. Conduct random patrols to identify unauthorized activity and report hazards to site personnel. Work a rotating day shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
Required Qualifications
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent
- Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred
