Job Summary
Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and manage badge access to create a welcoming, professional environment. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, while responding to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed. Use computer or tablet systems to communicate clearly and remain visible to deter security-related incidents. Work part-time shifts from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM on Thursdays and Fridays.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- A guard card or license is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Access control or badge experience is preferred
