Job Summary
Conduct routine unarmed patrols of assigned transit facilities, platforms, stations, and perimeters to deter incidents and report unusual activity. Provide customer service to transit employees, riders, and visitors while responding to service disruptions and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Monitor access points to support orderly movement throughout public transportation locations and prepare accurate activity and incident reports. Maintain a visible presence to help safeguard clients in government and other industries. Work part-time day shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM in Brooklyn, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Valid New York State Security Guard License
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- Valid driver's license
